Wildlife Ecology of a Peri-Urban Farm

Wildlife Ecology Diagrams
Just as all designs are contingent on the languages used to communicate them, they also depend on the ecologies present in their site and context. The overlap and interplay of cultivated and wild realities of a farm generate a hybrid ecology necessitating a new mode of communication beyond the biology textbook. Just as one can approach architectural design from the point of view of ecological study, so can the annual breeding, feeding, and migration cycles of interlocked species be represented by the language of music and a non-hierarchical, non-trophic food chain.
